Welcome to Fresno Rug Center, an Afghan American family-owned rug business that has been weaving handmade rugs for over 25 years. Our founder and owner, Feraidoon Hazin, started as a child weaver in Afghanistan and has since built a legacy of producing exquisite, one-of-a-kind rugs that showcase the beauty of Afghan craftsmanship.
At Fresno Rug Center, we take pride in using local resources and traditional weaving techniques to create our rugs. Every rug is hand-woven in Afghanistan by skilled artisans, ensuring that each piece is unique and made with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Where do we source our handwoven rugs?
We have our own factory and team in Afghanistan where we source the majority of our rugs. This is where Hazara and Turkoman women hand weave our rugs with wool made from the sheep that live in and eat in the high mountains of Northern Afghanistan.
From our homeland in Afghanistan to the U.S.
Designing and creating handmade rugs is a meticulous and intricate process, and at Fresno Rug Center, we take great pride in every step of it.
Our design process begins with inspiration from our Afghan culture and heritage, as well as contemporary trends. Once a design is conceptualized, our team of skilled weavers in Afghanistan bring it to life using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Every rug is created using locally sourced materials, such as wool and natural dyes, which not only results in a high-quality product, but also supports the Afghan economy. Our weavers carefully hand-knot each rug, taking the time to ensure that every detail is perfect.
Once the rugs are complete, they are shipped to our facility in the USA, where we carefully inspect and prepare them for sale. We take great care to ensure that each rug is of the highest quality and meets our standards before offering them for purchase.
